Barcode recognition with PDF OCR

Abbyy Finereader is my first choice for OCR, but it doesn't handle barcodes very well. Specifically GS1 Stacked or RSS/EAN barcodes. Any suggestions?

There are a number of enterprise solutions, but that is all done with sdks and coding to facilitate automated processing.
