The current adidas, i find it powerful.

Never liked the classic adidas logo despite my age, in the 80ies the Nike logo was more to my liking!

Chermayeff & Geismar & Haviv look and feel

i know they can look to old, but i think the mood create by Chermayeff & Geismar & Haviv is timeless and simple, very focused on the concept "less is more"

I tend to like the kind of logo's that are stupidly simple. I've always like the Staples logo. Just one small touch immediately makes it clear what they do, what sector they're in and what you can expect from them.

Though I must say, in recent years I've started to wonder: how relevant are logo's still? I've always felt like the style is way more important and does a lot more for recognition than the logo itself. I went to a Brand New Conference where Chermayeff & Geismar & Haviv spoke. Or atleast, Haviv did. Thought one of the most memorable quotes of the conference was his: 'The logo is the period at the end of the sentence, not the sentence itself.'
