    It's of great significance to see typefaces as individuals instead of font, each typeface has respective unique personality!

    Stay clear of mega free font sites like dafont.com. Using garbage fonts is the first indicator that someones an amateur designer.

    Don't overwhelm yourself with thousands of fonts. People who are getting into typography should avoid huge typeface libraries.

    learn to work with few good typefaces. learn about grids. practice alot. analyse everything, magazines, websites, books and packaging etc.

    I've found typophile.com to be really educational. Some of the posters on there have a impressively deep knowledge of typography and you'll come across tidbits you won't find anywhere else. There are also a few characters with some rather entrenched opinions, though, so take what you read with a pinch of salt.

    i love to look at brandnew.com and fontsinuse.com for inspiration. they have a bunch of variety so you can cater it to your needs. also suitcase fusion is great with its tools
