Selling graphics — How do you earn my?

Hi guys, just want to know if you have some experience with selling stock graphics, crowdsourcing, etc... in other words how to get some additional income aside from freelancing or regular work.

share your ideas, write your opinion...

if you google a little you'll find a lot of royalty free sites where you can sell your graphics as a freelancer.

Here would be 3 tips to maximize income:
    1. use also smaller vendors like 123RF.com . They may not have as many customers as the big s, but they also have less for the client to choose from ... less competition.

    2. vectors over bitmaps, but you should sell also bit-mapped versions of your files as transparent png (and mention that in the tags).

    3. tag like crazy ... be accurate, but rember that many of your clients may not even know what the look for. If you have a picture of a goat, also tag it as farm / animal / etc.

If you want to sell vectors, dont use PDF, .AI or .CDR file formats. Instead use EPS file format, avoid large number or layers and keep it simple, usually the clients need to change color and size.

Stocklogos.com and Stocklayouts.com have the option to be a designer. I've never personally tried it, but I've seen the option there

Personally I used graphic river on envato. There's quit large competition there means big cash rolled in process.
