My choice of InDesign. In Quark there are no dictionaries of Russian and transfers. In InDesign everything works correctly.

I've used both and Indesign for me is the best. I always found Quark very un user friendly compared to Indesign.

And Indesign works well with other Adobe software like Illustrator and Photoshop.

I think I like InDesign more, but it is a personal preference. You can always try both and see which you prefer. In art school they taught me InDesign so I just always stuck with that.

Once upon a time I only used Quark. Now I'd have to take both it and inDesign for a ride to give an informed choice, but I've grown used to doing mostly everything in Illustrator, since it's been years since I've needed to work with multiple pages.
