    Printing tickets (numbering, protecting)

we do a lot of ticket printing. I use Adobe Indesign data merge and Excel to number them. But I wonder how could I protect them using some other techniques? Is there any vector/raster thing that I could use? If I print it on laser printer (Canon C6010) is there any option to use some FM raster or something. Any idea?

That's a rather tough one without some sort of post-printing stickers/stamps. You could resort to some sort of qr code with a specific sequence.
