    Photoshop CS6

In these days i tested rapidly and approximately Photoshop CS6 Beta.
The first impact was not so good as i expected to, there are some new good features but nothing really important that push me to change from CS5 to CS6.
The previous version from CS4 to CS5 was incredibly improved, but not this time.
Now if someone tested it more accurately can you confirm it or i'm wrong?

It really depends on what you're using Photoshop to accomplish. The new Blur tools are very nice, as is facial recognition (skin-aware masking). These are both primarily for photography retouching. Content-Aware Move and Content-Aware Patch are also very nice, new features. And of course, auto-save is now a feature and is a great addition.

It may not be worth the upgrade if Photoshop is not one of your primary tools, but some of the new features are definitely very good additions.

Personally the new Blur Tools i define them as a "Toy", i do the same in CS5 without the new ones.
I'm agree about the new "Content Aware Move and Patch" are really intersting as the auto-save (i wonder why they didn't do it before, why now? It sounds like: we keep it, in case in future releases we haven't enough new upgrade tools).
About big files, i didn't test it, still using CS5.
I also noted the video part in Photoshop CS6: but???????
I will never use Photoshop to make retouching video if it is like the animation part (i still use imageready from CS2)

Guess we can only fully review CS6 once it has actually been released fully, but yeah they do seem to keep churning out versions and charging just as much.

Well what i can say from my part is FINALLY they decided to improve 64bit in Illustrator.
It's the only program who uses mathematical algorithms to calculate the exact position of every point, anchor and so on and it is the last one to be improved on 64bit.
I was enraged to waste all that RAM in my computer in that illustrator, now in CS6 we can use it as in Photoshop 64bit....well at least is what they said.
You understand what i mean about marketing?

I wonder why adobe can not combine photoshop and illustrator as one, if so we do not need to do image artwork in photoshop and handle text and vector in another program.

Photoshop is a Raster based program while Illustrator is a Vector based program.
If you are able to program a software who can combine both algorithms without losing dexterity, please you are welcome.
