Let me know you that how can a damaged PDF file be repaired?
It becomes very easy when we use a good software tool, and a tool like SysInfoTools BKF Recovery v3.0 would be fantastic

    bad pdf

If it's sent to you, just try different PDF compatible programs to open it. On occasion you get a PDF from a new program that just isn't compatible with yours. I would ask for the file to be re-sent (give specific file save preferences-- some people will send the same stupid file). Old files are tough too, if only because they aren't made as "flexible" as newer ones. If you have other choices, I'd rebuild the PDF from scratch (always, always, always keep original layered files, psd, ai, etc.-- this can save you so much time when you need to edit or recall). I lost a bunch of files, thinking I could keep them on a free site for storage and free up the room on my hard drive (my first PC only had 32 GB...) or they were the victim of a badly burned CD, partial or just a failed burn and not checking the content before erasing. Another lesson learned. Now I keep backups of backups, flash drives and external hard drives...
