    i only know Esko's WebCenter. And there it's possible to make notes and also proof

    If PDF as entirely password protected (user can't even view content without it) it's nearly impossible to crack it (you can brute force it only). But if the password is only a method of restricting PDF usage (printing, editing) it is possible if not trivial to remove it.

    convert the pw protected pdf in Automation Engine to what ever and the PW is gone.
