    I'm handling both, but …

I do prefer my mac (presently a mini 2.7 GHz Intel core i7) since OS 7.
The mac is a stable reliable quality system. The OS is a lot more user friendly than Windows. Handling is smooth and flexible. Compared to it Windows is chaos.
All apps I'm working with have better handling on the mac.
The down side is it's more expensive than a PC.
    Well, those are my experiences...

I love the processing speeds of a mac - the design, the software, it's all so professional. However, windows is just so easy to use.

With a Mac i couldn't run solidworks, thats why i have to use a PC. I like the Mac-Book, but I don't like the Apple institution.

You should choose Mac, because it's very stable and safe.

I choose PC. I found mac to be as unreliable as PC but cost twice as much and much less hardware configurable.

I started off with Windows, but have been using Mac for almost 2 years? I love my Mac. But, I like PC as well. I'd have to learn how to use a PC all over again, though. Simply because I don't use one often and am so used to the MacBook Pro layout.

If you don't do graphic heavy work (video / museum printing), an i7 macbook air coupled with a monitor is not too expensive, and will do everything you'd like

I'm sure there's a lot of reasons to get a pc instead of a mac, but for me its personal choice. Just used to it, works well with what I want.

Few years ago I was dreaming about mac... when I got one a year ago, its not that great as i thought... Im generally into CGI stuff and mainly I use 3DS max... which is not supported on OSX, so im happy with my PC six core destkop, much cheaper then apple...

A lot of people have asserted that Mac is far more stable than PC, although I noticed over the course of several recording sessions at one of the big name recording studios in my city, which uses Mac exclusively in conjunction with Pro Tools, there were freezes and lock ups on a fairly regular basis(one to three times per session).

I usually prefer to work on Mac for designing and printing,
Now it doesn't matter to designer either way.
But one thing for sure is that the Mac system is much more efficient.

I prefer mac because his reliability, user interface , no viruses , color management, hardwear design.
The price is the only downside, but imac is good balance between quality and price.

You can buy with the same money of a mac, a better pc in terms of hardwear , but you will not have a OS optimised for that machine as a mac with ios.

After the kid at the Genius bar looked me in the face and told me the motherboard in my Mac was shot and that it was going to cost me roughly 1000 dollars to fix it, I've been a PC user ever since.

I have been working for many years on PC, I then switched to MAC. For 4 years I used my Mac every day, many hours. If he had given half the work PC I gave to MAC, the PC would not have lasted one year.

MAC is expensive, but ultimately worth it

Been a PC user for decades, and just made the migration to Mac. I must say, with the limited time I have had with my Macbook Pro, I don't ever see myself going back to a PC or Windows environment anytime soon. Bottom line Apple is expensive but worth the cost
