PC. Look at CS6. It's optimized for PC and more stable on a PC. Only downside for PC's is viruses.

I believe PC and Mac have very similar functionality except they do things in a different way. Its like the argument of Corel vs Illustrator.

I have used both MAC and PC several years in the design industry.

There is definitely something about the quality and feel of a MAC that makes it stand out but PC is much cheaper to buy and fix.

I can buy 2 monster PCs for 1 monster Mac.

Dude. MAC! If you can afford , get . There's a reason why Mac uses never go back to PC. I'm using my first Mac now, and it's by far --by huge leaps and bounds-- the best I've ever owned. I will never go back.

I prefer Mac, even though they are way more expensive. I'm real rough on computers and a pc lasts me less than a year. I've had my macbook pro for 4 years now and haven't had a single problem with it. So for me macs end up being cheaper in the long run.

I've been a mac user my whole life. I'm familiar with PCs as well, mostly when I was using them a lot during the XP days. These days though, I'm running a Hackintosh, and couldn't be happier. As long as you stick with known builds, there are few problems!

I must say though, Windows 7 isn't too bad. Windows 8 on the other hand…I just wish they'd make up there mind when it came to the UI

I started with a Windows in 2000, in school we learned Mac and it wasn't until 2008 when I got my very own MacBook. Since then I was hooked, esp. at a graphic designer perspective. Also find it useful with syncing everything on my iPad and iPh.

    Yes, I am pro Apple.

I don't think its fair to exclude the OS when comparing Mac and PC, once you take out that factor you essentially have identical products with different price tags. Of course PCs are cheaper and easier to customise, but the majority of the problems you get with a PC are because of the OS. On the other hand you pay for the OS on a Mac, that is what youre paying so much for. PC vs Mac isnt really a viable argument anymore, or at least its a stale on. Each have their merits and disadvantages.

Mac. Simply because it's easier to control, the UI seems cleaner to me ;)

Mac, although it's very bad that apples focus is more on the consumer market nowadays.
