I think that if it is reworked it should be named with other name, Comic sans is too hated to forget ;)

That one's definitely nicer. It's got a lot more charm than the Comic Neue. Comic Neue kind of loses the biggest part of what makes it comic sans. Comic Jens still has that kind of wonky feeling, but nicer letterforms. Comic Sans as a clinical typeface just doesn't work, even if it's a better typeface, technically

Comic Jens is a private project from Jens Kutilek - working at Fontshop Berlin.

Hahahaha! That Comic Neue looks like the love child of Comic Sans and Helvetica. The evil love child. And it does bring back that creepy feeling I had the first time I got a memo at work typed in Comic Sans. I haaated it. I cant wait to get it so I can send memo to the punk kids at work. Something along the line of...

Memorandum: The bathrooms will be down for maintenance this week. Call ext #666 and we will deliver a bucket to your cubicle within 20 min. A scaffolding will carry an open pipe system around the office and you can dump your bucket in there and gravity will do the rest. Enjoy!

Now imagine that Comic Neue. I love it.

This one is actually nice, Obviously not for large bodies of text but it serves the same purpose as Comic Sans and at least has some personality.

As for this Comic Neue, it kinda looks like a lesser version of two completely opposite fonts merged together. Nice experiment, I guess.

Definitely! The stigma is never going to wear off any time soon...Even for 'comics' its at the bottom of the list!

I love Comic sans: it's a good "flag" to show that the rest of the job is as crap!

Exactly what need is this redesign support to address? Are there paying customers out there clamoring for this?
