    New Photoshop

    Hello!

    I'm new here.. I have a question...
Is it just me? Or are there more people that think the new photoshop is annoying..?

    Thanks!

I've had trouble with it quitting a lot on me for no reason, without autosaving what I'm working on as well. So I prefer to still use CS6 over CC!

cc has not been that stable for me either. Constantly crashing with out of memory and various other random issues, this on hardware that shows no such errors using cs6 or any other software used on it. Illustrator cc is rock solid though.

I never had any problems with CC ! And the last version of Photoshop CC offers some great new things as Dynamic linked layers, saving the layer as .jpg, .png, etc... when putting the extension in the layer name... ! A few things that help a lot !

I find my Macbook Pro 13" 2010 is much slower in CC than it previously was with CS5. Is anybody experiencing similar issues?

    In my opinion, it is.
It's not like there are major news, but it seems Adobe is making a real effort to turn Illustrator in a real flexible software.

    Photoshop CC system requirements
    Windows

    Intel® Pentium® 4 or AMD Athlon® 64 processor (2 GHz or faster)
    Microsoft® Windows® 7 with Service Pack 1, Windows 8, or Windows 8.1 *
    1 GB of RAM
2.5 GB of available hard-disk space for installation; additional free space required during installation (cannot install on removable flash storage devices)
    1024 x 768 display (1280 x 800 recommended) with OpenGL® 2.0, 16-bit color, and 512 MB of VRAM (1 GB recommended)**
Internet connection and registration are necessary for required software activation, membership validation, and access to online services.

I like new Photoshop CC, but this requirrement - "windows 7 SP1 or higher..." speaks for itself...

Photoshop is the only part of the creative suite I have reverted back to CS6. The compatibility issue is less of a problem than the reliability of Photoshop CC.
