Recently my favourite serif is the Hoefler Text (Hoefler & Co. Foundry - http://www.typography.com) and my favourite sans serif is the Atlas Grotesk (Commercial Type - https://commercialtype.com/typefaces/atlas/grotesk)

It depends on alot of the destination media, to be honest.
Overall, i use Proxima Nova when digital is the destination, it's very similar to Gotham but with a slight more elegance.

I like DIN Next a lot
That font have a high readability, there is a lot of weights too which make it a very flexible font.

I used to use DIN for everything but I looked up DIN Next and it looks awesome - improves the classic DIN font in a subtle way.

    Smile

Lately, I've really been enjoying Mikado from HVD Fonts
Chunky and fun, but also some slimmer weights, I dunno, maybe I'm immature, but I love it!

I've used Din pro as well in several logo projects.
    Brandon Grotesque, Baskerville...

I am more in vintage style, so check and letterheadfonts, they have awesome stuff. For example like LHFEsoteric is one of my favorites.

    Cool

LHF fonts are very good for typographic designs.
