    My favourite typeface

    Hi,

I´m new to this forum and I´d like to know what typefaces you like best including the reason for your choice. What do you think are high-quality typefaces?

Ok, so I´m going to start. My favourite sans-typeface is Frutiger because I like the clear, highly legible letters which to me convey a sense of elegance and reliability.

Well, it changes every couple of months for me. Right now I like Neutraface No. 2 because of the sharpness and clarity of the letterforms, but I'm sure I'll gravitate to something else later.

I'm a sucker for a good script font. I've been feeling some from Fenotype Fonts lately like Bonbon and Voyage.

HAHAHA, you made me laugh with this; I totally know what you mean! I'm the same way. Today I like big full rounded scripts from the 40's and 50's window lettering displays...tomorrow..I'll be into cholo lettering styles. I love typography but doubt I could ever really have a 'favorite.'

Minion - I have all the fonts from the adobe creative pack but again and again I like printed long text in Minion the most.

How could a thread like this go without a single mention of Mr Connare's masterpiece? *wink*

There's something absolutely alluring about proxima nova in bold. For now that is, always changes.
