    I made all my portfolio projects with some mockups from Graphicriver (the best), CreativeMarket and Pixeden. Try Tutsplus (great psd effects tutorials) and Deviantart for anything more specific.

    Graphicriver has lots of affordable and pro level mockup templates.

    sometimes I use http://www.graphixriver.com (but own real photos are better in my opinion)

    Don't use artificial lighting on anything unless you are shooting glass (to control those hideous reflections). I shot my entire portfolio using filtered natural light and the shots were pretty darn great.

    I used Graphic River for several pieces. If you can get in to a good layered psd file from them, you can usually tweak just about everything you need to create the look and environment that reflects your style and book. The turn-around on our final portfolios was insane, and I couldn't have done it without using a few Graphic River templates.

    they provide mockup
    but i usually go to pixeden or graphicriver first.
