This is such an endless discussion! :)
From my personal point of view, it really depends on what you're used to.
I've been a PC user for many years, and see nothing wrong with working on windows, as long as you know how to get the most out of it.
If we're talking about a desktop machine - I can't find much of a difference, tbh.
Both use similar hardware, the only difference is when you have a problem. It's easier to fix a PC by yourself than a MAC - but it also depends on where you're located.
In bigger cities Apple's support is usually great and very quick.
The only MAC hardware advantages nowadays are their awesome laptop displays, and build quality. So if you need a laptop that would last a really long time - go with a Macbook Pro, for sure.
And then of course, there's the price difference. After all a MAC costs three times more than a PC.
like many others have said it really just depends on what you're used to and perhaps the type of work needed to be d. i myself have used windows for pretty much everything and it's worked out quite well for me. viruses and crashing aren't really an issue at all if you happen to know what you're doing. as for hardware and os, pc is of course a way better value per dollar unless you absolutely require aesthetics and both can run whatever os so in the end it just goes back to preference/budget.
I have both PC & Mac. But when my Mac was broken, the price of the repair was awful. So i have now OS X on PC hardware. Cheap hardware, nice software.
Mac for sure!
I agree with the poster above who said that it really depends on the individual. I'd love to go all Mac, but for what I do I just can't justify the difference in price when my PC setup has always been able to accomplish what I need to get d.
The never-ending debate continues.
Windows as of now, not sure what to buy next myself.
Mac, if I'm going to sit in front of something for 11+ hours a day, it better look nice.
You can always use an emulator of several Operating Systems on your current machine, have a forelook and try some features...
While I think the newest PCs are nice, I'm definitely a Mac guy. I don't think you can go wrong.
Mac.... always Mac
Hugely easy to get fixed too. Just take it into an Apple Store.
