I love my mac, but I can see why people choose PC. I picked Mac because of video work originally.

I'd say mac is the way to go. I've had mine mbp late from late 2008 and it still works better than most of the market laptops. No problems whatsover

It isn't necessary to be such categorical. In Something MAC is better, but the difference isn't so great. And PC have important argument - Corel Draw. This program forces me to hold and PC and MAC, it much quicker and more plastically than Adobe Illustrator. And at MAC Corel Draw works only via the virtual that isn't good.

I had an old HP and changed it with a new air book >> after three months I bought a new sony. No way, windows is still better for work. Good Mac for movies and photoes.

It depends on what you do with your computer.
I personally like Mac since it's more powerful for graphic design.

    MAC for sure

There is no discussion here, it is definitely mac that is better in every way for design work, and unless you are doing some complicated programming and require very niche programs you mac is superior in every way.

I use Windows 8 on my iMac. I'm just not really into Finder, thats it. I wish though that native Explorer would have tabs similar to OSX Mavericks but I have already a plugin that brings Chrome-like tabs on Windows Explorer. Try searching "Clover" on Google.

Definitely Mac. Have used Windows myself and it just pales in comparison to Mac. The others are right, once you go Mac, you just can't go back!

I've always used a pc but i finally caved and bought a new macbook pro. I was afraid it would take me forever to get used to but so far I really like it. I got the hang of it faster than I expected plus it's such a sleek looking machine.

I used Windows for a long time, but after getting used to Mac I can say that once you get used to it, your workflow is really optimized. And I rarely get corrupt PSDs.
