Love my mac - I can't imagine working with a PC, but then again, I'm just a mac girl.

It's the most comprehensive and objective comparison I've seen so far.

Its difficult to beat a Mac Book Pro with a retina display for design work. Windows might be more cost effective on a desktop, but I prefer my Macs and I don't miss the "vacuum cleaner" sound from my old Windows desktop.

    MAC vs Window

Agree with a lot of the before posters, It comes down to the individual and what you are going to be doing with it. As a designer I prefer Mac and all my other gear is Apple so everything talks without any hassle. Although I have come across wanting to do some stuff on my Mac (Video stuff) which I could easily do on a PC and its a little harder to do on the mac, or it takes a couple of apps instead of 1 on the PC.

I still am and always will be a mac man.

    Mac

Using both Mac & PC at work, I think Mac is better in working on graphics.

I like both. Funny enough, the problems that both are known for seem to be reversed in my case.

When it comes to design, my Mac does the job.
