Lino Neue Haas Grotesk alternate characters question

How do you access/use characters like the straight legged "R" on the Mac/InDesign?

I could see it in the character set in Font Book but how to use it? FWIW, that R is listed as "Glyph 443" in the character set

Thanks in advance and apologies if it's a brain dead question...

Check your Glyph palette or opentype features.

In InDesign it's in the "Glyphs" palette – shortcut: option+shift+F11.

    For photoshop users:

In the 'character' tab, click the options icon (top right corner) and go OpenType > Alternate Characters
