Illustrator - Can have a "master and slave" setup in multiple ups

    Hi all,

I would like to know if there is a way in illustrator to setup some sort of master and slave setup for multiple ups on a sheet.
I could do it with the rip, but I would prefer to do the multiple ups with illustrator to gain more control over the process.
But just copy and paste won;t cut it for me, because I would have to make the same change 16 times on a 16 up if there is something to change. How can I change a master and than illustrator changes the other 15 for me.

Any with some hints for me?

    Exclamation

    found out myself.

    If it interests any:

take your up and save it as a PDF

setup your sheet as a .ai file

place as many ups as you need on the sheet

    save the file

if you edit the pdf file magically all the ups will change as well
