I usually do one of the following

1, Pause the project i'm stuck on and move on to another.
2, Grab one of my friends/coworkers for a brainstorming session.
3, If there's no other project to work on and no one to brainstorm with i just go out and do something i enjoy.

Getting away from my desk, doing something productive with my hands like painting or even cleaning up around my office, or reading helps me. On a nice day, I'd suggest going outside and walking around for a bit. Sunlight and fresh air can help clear your head!

Write down or sketch EVERY single idea that you can think of in a 30 minute time-period. It's like playing basketball, if you only take 1 shot during a game the pressure to make that one shot is HUGE and more often than not, you will miss. You want to have a big volume of ideas because even if you come up with 30 ideas and only 9 of them are good ideas, that's still better than having no ideas at all (0/1).

id look at some inspirational websites like pintrest and take a short break - even though i feel a little guilty about breaking away from a project on deadline - always works
taking a walk and fresh air helps my brain start to recirculate

I constantly hit designers block.. I often find inspiration on Pintrest of a blog called 'Creative Bloq' is really cool too. Drawing or sketching random things also helps me get back into the creative mindset.

I take a walk outside, the nature, cityscape etc.. inspired me in different ways.
I felt stuck today, just grabbed my macbook and went to a café and that really got me going.

    Nature!

A walk or cycle in nature. No better way of recharging.

Pressure and constraints and research. But yes, absolutely step away and keep it just a little but on your mind. You'll be inspired in no time.

BEER. Seriously. Have a beer. Apologize in advance for the huge image, but I think it may prove helpful to all.

I find turning to paper eliminates a lot of the static and noise that come into play with working on a screen.

Then the best solution (at least in my opinion) is to distract yourself and come back later when you’ve got an idea. You have to take your time and when the deadline’s approaching – well, then you’ve got to take a night shift.
