Tried a few but Suitcase (Fusion 5 for now, but I'm trying to get my bosses to buy 6) is still the best for now, even though it gets a little slow and buggy with all the fonts I stuff into it... The Google font visualizer is cool too.

at my internships, they used this:

I think it's really expensive, but you can try Suitcase as well.

Suitcase type server is expensive because its tailored for workgroups, you have all your fonts on the server and no missing fonts when you open somebody else's file.

Fusion is fine when you're less than 10 people (word of mouth works ok and you can collect fonts for output and share quickly), the really cool function is font auto-activation - its not new, but I remember when you had to go back and forth activating and relaunching apps but I guess that just shows how old I am...

I use Suitcase Fusion at home but work as FontExplorer.

I prefer Suitcase Fusion because it is cleaner UI wise.

Exclamation I love Suitcase Fusion but it crashes a lot!

I always used Fontexplorer but I recently tried Suitcase Fusion and its plugins are excellent managing fonts when you need to open loads os external documents using different fonts.

The problem its that it crashes a lot!!

I've been using Suitcase for years now. I say this is probably the best font manager I've ever used compared to the Mac Font book. I have thousands of fonts and Fontbook had difficulties managing all of them

    Font Agent Pro

I've used Font Agent Pro (Insider Software) for years on Mac and PC and it's never let me down - I have a library of 4000+ fonts. Has optional auto activation plugins as well.
