Seems like there are a lot more freelancers than full-timers here on PrintRoot.

I've been working for several companies, I wish I didn't.
I feel like I wasted my time there. When it comes to my I was earning more by doing side projects as a freelancer. I'd rather earn less than earn more and to be more frustrated.

I'm freelancing and attending school, and I plan to continue freelancing. If I get a good job offer right after school that won't be wrong either, will give me a chance to save some my before going solo.

My freedom is so much more worth then my so even though freelancing means more work that is NOT design, I think it's the only way for me to go.

    Freelance or Employed? Both

Hi guys, I do both Freelance and work full time. My full time job is creating 12 pages from start to finish of new and used cars in Newsprint. Love my job, and the people I do it for. I work full time hours in 4 days then have 3 days off, which is when I Freelance. I don't have enough clients to take it full time but I have enough to keep me busy and working on different things other than cars is great.

Employed, but kinda always wish I could go freelance - just the instability is scary.

Freelancing between jobs at the moment. Wish I was employed, but the cons outweighed the pros at my last design firm.

Employed full time. I have a hard time finding clients who understand the true value of design and are willing to pay a reasonable fee, let al anything up front, and want to bail the second they don't like an option or detail.

Employed definitely. I think is too risky to be a freelancer.
