    High-Logic MainType 4.0

For those PC users whose needs are not met by above listed font managers, I would recommend looking at High-Logic MainType 4.0. It is the best I have ever used. There is a free trial.

    Thumbs up the reason...

    yeah...

the reason everyone prefers FontExplorerX Pro or Suitcase Fusion is

the have font auto-activation plugin feature which means when you open any document, all the fonts will be activated from the font library/database (provided you have it in your database!)

here are the programs supported by Suitcase Fusion 3
    Adobe Illustrator CS3, CS4, CS5, CS5.1 (included in Creative Suite 5.5)
    Adobe InDesign CS3, CS4, CS5, CS5.5
Adobe Photoshop CS4, CS5, CS5.1 (included in Creative Suite 5.5)
The Photoshop CS5 and CS5.1 plug-ins include the Extensis Font Panel.
    QuarkXPress 7, 8, 9

It automatically repair and organize your font and the auto activation function is really great.

Using Suitcase Fusion 3 and so far loving it. Also nice to consolidate fonts if for some reason fonts were not added properly.

I really agree with you. I've been using a lot of font-managers over the years. My last was Fontcase which seems to have problems with a large amount of fonts. But FAP is always running very smooth and reliable.
