I am just uninstalling fontxplorer from my windows software database.
It is really really slow.
I can't understand how it can be so fast on the mac at work and how windows let him fall.
I really don't knwow what to use.
I'm getting back to the old suitcase 3.0 then.

Rates fonts like on itunes
Auto activation with software like adobe indesign illustrator (not always working properly)
Enter the font and check glyph list easily
Add folder with others folder in to organise your fonts.
For those who prefer a better WYSIWYG
Glyphes is also a great soft for mac
definitely going to try font explorer x - compared to the tools i am using it with, suitcase is clunky at this point.

Font explorer is the software I am using in Mac OSX.
I use Font Expert 2010 for managing font, it is very simple, fast and you can make font groups that you can activate or deactive with a single click. You can see what characters contains the font, and you can edit sample text that helps you to quick find the concret font. It is available for PC and MAC too.
