    This thread

this thread was a real lifesaver, sifting through a lot of these fonts is becoming a irritating source of frustration on a daily basis.

I am just uninstalling fontxplorer from my windows software database.

    It is really really slow.

I can't understand how it can be so fast on the mac at work and how windows let him fall.

I really don't knwow what to use.

I'm getting back to the old suitcase 3.0 then.

    Thanks for the share anyway.

    Font activator on Mac

Fontexplorer Pro on mac is great
WYSIWYG : "What you see is what you get "option
    Rates fonts like on itunes
Auto activation with software like adobe indesign illustrator (not always working properly)
Enter the font and check glyph list easily
Add folder with others folder in to organise your fonts.

For those who prefer a better WYSIWYG
Glyphes is also a great soft for mac

Seems to be a problem with this link i.e. The structure of the archive appears to be damaged. Tried a few times, anyone else try?

I use Font Expert 2010 for managing font, it is very simple, fast and you can make font groups that you can activate or deactive with a single click. You can see what characters contains the font, and you can edit sample text that helps you to quick find the concret font. It is available for PC and MAC too.

SuitCase Fusion 3 at home. (24723 fonts)
Universal type server,at work, the best way to centralize our font collection into a single location. Saves a lot of time to distribute new job fonts between workstations.
