So this is an acknowledgement that suitcase is not as good as it used to be?

I think that fontXplorer X Pro is the most useful tool for managing font.

Extensis SF is a pretty unstable program but my fav, EVER, is AMP Font Viewer. Google it, an oldy but a goody!

I don't see how you get that out of my post. Suitcase works great.

For me also. After many others I use FontExplorer on Mac now.

We are using Universal Type Server from Extensis

If you are a single user, the choices are many, but if you are a group of users, you will need a trusted solution like Extensis Universal Type Server.

Still with Font Explorer X (but not always happy...).

One thing is important too: You need a basic (and meaningful) font (library) organization on your HD -- if you don't, no tool can help you...

A long time ago I were using suitcase but we had several problems with it. So I switched to Linotype FontXplorer and the software is amazing. Today i updated to the newest version 3.something and it worked without any problems.

I've used the suitcase and had to format my mac, I started to use Linotype FontExplorer X, and have not had problems.

Suitcase on PC but version 3 is very buggy; it doesn't run as solid as v2
