Same as a lot of people, Suitcase, easy to use, reliable and no problems with any Adobe software.

Tied quite a few and settled on FontViewer. It's free and does most things ok.

I use Suitcase Fusion 5 at work... works well except it crashes fairly often. Not sure if it's a compatibility or update issue, or...

    Nexus Font Manager

I preffer Nexus Font Manager, I like the app design and it's free.
It has some mistakes, such as missing browsing folders, but overall it is a good software.

Using Suitcase at work but don't like it. Feels like an outdated UI and (for me) slow application.

I've always just used fontbook. I usually have a few of each kind of font on my mind at once and make it a point to use them on any open projects. That said if those don't fit I go through fontbook. I'll definitely check these out now though.
