Font Explorer on Mac.. but some friends are using default Font Book and it's still a good option. Font Explorer have some interesting features like showing how much ink you will save if you'll choose some other font :)...

This was a great thread! I have been waffling back and forth on different font management softwares for awhile because Font Book isn't cutting it for me.. I would like the option to turn fonts on and off, and be able to browse the glyphs faster than just opening the panel in Illustrator. Thanks everyone, for all of the input!

    Nexus

Nexus Font it's the winner for me because it's temporary load caracteristics. When you open up the program and load some fonts, you don't need to install them because they are temporary auto-installed by the program itself :D. genius program and free.:D

Personally I choose Suitecase Fusion as the best font manager! As many users said, the auto-activating plug-in is superb!

We have been using Font Agent Pro (Mac) for a few years. It handles the crazy number of fonts we need running better than anything I have tried. We do coupon magazines all over the Midwest and have to have up to 1500 font families loaded up if we are working on 7 or 8 magazines at a time. Each magazine has about 100 advertisers so it is easy to see how fast the the large number of fonts needed adds up.
