    Universal Type Server 3.0

I used Universal Type Server and 6 client workstation. I love the single source and the ability to create and share specific sets. It also has great feature for user management, let say you have a designer on contrat for 1 month. You can restrict the ability to delete fonts or even collect fonts if you don't want them to steal. I'm using it for 4 years now and when from v1 to v3 and I love it.

I've used Suitcase Fusion for some time, and I was happy with it, until the font vault got corrupted (because of the corruption of some sectors of the hard drive)... and then SF stopped working. No reinstall, deletion of font vault etc etc. ever worked... just hard drive format and windows reinstall...

I use bundled Font Navigator from Corel, but now try also other options. With 70.000+ fonts seems its got to its limit... guess it has limited database size as the fonts from around R start to gain names from the A...

I'm the same, a lot of time invested in organizing the library!

Tried a few others which have a 'nicer' ui but less functionality, which is all I really need with Suitcase.

    Definitely Suitcase for Mac!

We have been using it in OS X for 6 years without a single problem... (!)

I think its quite light also...

    In PC

Corel font navigator or ATM (if it's still there, I don't know...)

I use Linotype's free tool. I like that you can copy a zip file of certain fonts easily when looking through the collection.

I've tried to use Suitcase and just didn't like the interface...

    Suitcase

    Definitely Suitcase for Mac!
Integrated in to the CS6 Suite, making it easy to see and turn on fonts without leaving the app you're using.
Love it and will not change.

always been a PC user and never really thought about organizing my fonts.
when I got my first Mac a friend showed me what worked best for him and I stuck to it.
