    Favorite Project Management Software

I am an art director with a small team of 4 other designers and I am looking to improve our project management. At the moment we are using a home-brewed web-based solution, but I would like to find something a little better. Most of the software I have looked at seems like overkill, with too many features, and usually not well suited to the design process. Could anyone suggest project management software that has worked well for them? I really liked the looks of Pipeline, [https://pipeline.shipyardapps.com], but it seems like development on it is dead.

In my case I use different tools for different aspects of the project:
    - Work Breakdown Structure: MindManager (http://www.mindjet.com/mindmanager/)
    - For project planning, estimation and scheduling: Merlin (http://www.projectwizards.net/en/merlin/). If I would be Windows user I would use MS-Project for that. If you do not need complex estimation and just basic scheduling and you are Windows user MindManager could be enough (Mac version does not have that functionality).
    - For project communication, task management and document sharing: Basecamp Cloud Service (http://basecamp.com).

    Hope it helps.

We use almost exclusively Basecamp (www.basecamp.com) at our team (team size vary from 3 - 10+ cooperating users).
For small and personal projects I'm quite happy with Trello (www.trello.com).

We have quite a few groups in our organization that use JIRA. It might be used more by the IT crowd, but it works well.

For small projects, I like using Trello. It does the job.

I like Wrike also. It seems a bite less kitschy than basecamp. Just my tow cents.
