Definitely Illustrator. You can try Corel Draw too. But for the international standard, better use illustrator

Illustrator for me, really dislike when I am required to edit logos in photoshop, normally they are the awfully 'designed' logos.

I think the set standard in the industry. If you do logos, use Illustrator, then switch over to Indesign for layouts and ofc Photoshop for image editing. I've heard Sketch is a good software but didnt have the opportunity to test it out, I've also heard its more popular in the Ux&UI community?

I'm a holdout, while I use CC from day to day, I have set aside an old imac for Freehand, it is still the most intuitive design software I know

For logos has to be illustrator. The flexibility of the vector file is unmatched.

Illustrator for final version naturally, but prototyping logo versions has always worked better i photoshop for me.

Illustrator ftw!!! There was a time that Corel could do faster and better, but for the last 8 years it stopped in time.

Illustrator seems to be the go to, used Corel for a long while ages back too. Photoshop less so because of vector needs for press work
