    obviously illustrator as well i can't even imagine designing logos in photoshop..
    some of u are talking about Inkscape maybe i should give it a try

    Illustrator is the Best, vectorial programs allow you to control everything is needed for the design of a Logo!

    photoshop is good

    photoshop for bitmaps, illustrator for vectorials, and indesing for book, magazines, etc

    Illustrator - of course.

    I still sketch initial concepts and thumbnail with paper most of the time.

    Illustrator is the only one for me. This is the most used in graphic industry.

    Illustrator. Logos should always be vector, and AI makes it easy to comp up a ton of variations with the artboard system. Additionally show outlines and pathfinder is supremely useful.
