    Favorite Font for Websites?

What's your favorite font for body texts, in terms of legibility and aesthetic?

I tend towards sans serif font due their better legibility on low dpi monitors, so I'll pick Apercu.

Most of the time is use Open Sans, Roboto, Arial and Helvetica (sans-serif) and Georgia, Times (serif). Easy to read and nice fonts...

Ubuntu for me, clean and stylish.
Though Lato is nice too if you want something lighter.

Brandon is great for it's range of weights and its X-height gives it a really approachable feel – nothing too dramatic or jarring.

What's a good serif font to use on a web site, if you want to go for serif and not use the usual georgia and time new roman.

Meta serif is great. nice balance between serif with a lot of the cleanness of a sans serif.

Both Open Sans and Source Sans are also great, and free.

Some lovely fonts mentioned above but I really think it depends on the content of the site. Its a bit like saying what font is best for a Lorem Ipsum dump, ultimately you just dont know untill you see what needs to be communicated

FF Din and DIN Pro, by far the best for reading. Open Sans is also good.

    Open Sans & Proxima Nova

Open Sans is great due to it's large amount of weights. I also really like Proxima Nova.
