    Edit font family name

    Hi!

    I want to edit a font's font family.

    Let's say I have:

    Code:
    Only the registered members can see the download links/content. pleaseĀ Register to gain full access.
    I want it to be

    How can I do that? I use a MAC

    You can use: fontlab, fontographer, fontforge (free), DTL OTMaster, TTX and many other mac font softwares.
    The best software only to rename without touching the rest of the font is DTL OTMaster.
    The easiest softwares are fontlab and fontographer but they can change the font.

    I mean, to edit the internal font name you need a font software and resave the font.

    your answer is fontlab studio

    Its a very acurate and easy program

    otf options are great and you can do anything u like



    U can edit names, styles on "names" segment

    have fun

    Yes, FontLab works fine on PC. Usefull for fast renaming, or getting full embed/print access for a font let al creating the font from the beginning.

    Yes, but It's not so symple, there are 5 internal names
    IMHO the first screen is more important:

    I use both FontLab Studio and Fontographer but never found a version of DTL OTMaster.
    Any help with that is welcome.
