    I would also like to learn graphic design, but it's because I like playing with photoshop and illustrator, not that I'm creative. I see something out there (I mainly create statiry and invitations) and want to learn how to recreate it.

    Do you think it's possible to learn to come up with my own designs or am I destined to repeat what some else has brilliantly created?

    echo of the remark left by siege...
    having tools is
    using them is
    having talent and routine is something that takes at least 10.000 hours :)

    My best advice would be to get some books most online resources are not very good tbh.

    I would suggest doing a lot of tutorials and then use the knowledge you learn there and make project of your own. IMO that is the best way to learn.

    Lynda.com is super cool and cheap for the quality of learning material you get. You could also apply for an intership at a graphic design company or ad agency and just learn everything you can from them.

    if we ourselves think that our work is easy to learn, I wonder how we can argue its value in front of customers
