Great news! The entire fleet of PCs in the enterprise is made up of computers based on QuadCore. Only one thing I could find on the Adobe any information about it. I have not looked very carefully?

    Not much improvement

There some improvements like bug fixing for all applications, more Dreamweaver and Flash code compliance (CSS3, HTML5 and Actionscript 3 standards) and no groundbreaking tools.

I made the upgrade and for my needs (mostly editing scanned photos and preparing very basic websites and book layouts), there is hardly any change, possibly none. If you want to prepare web media for phones, ipads etc though the yes, there are changes worth having. If you are paying not a company and don't need the newest features wait till next year and go for CS6

Over CS3 there are numerous improvements in Photoshop alone that make it worth it, not least the Selection tools and Content Aware fill. Makes retouching much more productive (quicker) although I still think the best improvement ever was in CS2 when they added the Image size shortcut ;)

    Dictionaries support

5.5 support Hunspell dictionaries, but it is far from perfect.
