    CS 5 vs CS 5.5 ?

Are there really any major differences? Pointless to upgrade?

    cs5.5

    Hello

After updating to cs5.5 about a month ago i really cant see a difference
There is some ipad support with 3 adobe apps, but haven't tried these out as we don't
    have wifi right now
But who knows perhaps some or other tools were improved, but it was more than likely just a quick cash in for them.
Nothing to stop you from downloading the demo and giving it a try though

    Smile I dont change...

....even when this major release came out, my interest keep stick to the CS5 no matter what. The difference in this release with the prior one is very light i dont think that you gonna notice the upgrade, unless you are an ipad media designer, otherwise, dont make the install, at least not for now.

cs 5.5 is faster and more optimized specially for quad core machines.

Still happy with CS5, so I see no point in upgrading

I would wait until CS6 to upgrade. There is some support for developing iPad apps or iOS apps in general but unless you are working with them I would wait it out. Also it depends on why you are considering the upgrade.
