    Lightbulb -sided opinion

the same goes to 'sames' - for new readers here (especially the leachers club {including me} ) - better read REAL-life reviews on these products..
'best' is a very subjective / self-opinionated word..

It actually depends on where, on what, and how you use those programs..
Now, you can use them both: virtual machines / virtual oses..or if like me, use Hackintosh : windows + mac osx..and taste the sweets and bitterness of both worlds. ;)

i am Corel user my self and to be objective its not the best. otherwise i would not need AI , image tracer, etc sitting on my computer. iis good at some point but it has many lack that you will need other software to unleash what is on your head.

AI is better, especially when added snap object feature at newer release. There is no task that Ai can not do, while there are many task that Corel simply can not.

Your tool determine your design result. If you are serious designer go for Ai.

90% of the time when we do a rebrand, the old logo/assets supplied to us are in coral draw format. That should say something.
Illustrator is so much better the 2 aren't really comparable.

Illustrator for sure, you can easily copy and paste your illustration files in photoshop (and edit it as smart object) and indesign (vector) or from indesign or photoshop to illustrator without problems.

What is the difference between Corel Draw and Adobe Illustrator?

Do you find it better than AI? Does it have plugins too?
