Probably you haven't tried Adobe Illustrator yet, or you don't need a close integration with Photoshop or other Adobe tools.

I've been using Corel since its inception, even before using the versions of Adobe, was the only one using both Draw and Photopaint, and really very good, unfortunately only the Draw is what has improved and maintained its versatility.

I do not understand why many people use Corel Draw to create layout for magazines, and even use this software as a text editor for that .. you tried to write a literature-to say physics - with Corel Draw ..?. . in terms of mathematical notation, formulas, Corel Draw is a disaster.
I do not deny that it has its advantages but for me it has more minuses than pluses.

I wouldn't say Corel is the best. Most graphics software applications have strong points, well except for Quark.

Agree, say Corel got some features that i'd like to see in Illustrator not to mention Freehand. But overall i feel like i'm home in Illy :) Cheers guys :)

You that use Draw, do you use paintshop too?
I have so many good memories using paintshop in my youth to cover up acne

Corel is very user friendly, and easy for use but very, very unpredictable.
