    Yes you can download a trial on their website. Also, they are doing a annual fee now, similar to what Adobe is doing with the CC package.

    a Lite version also comes packaged within After Effects if you have that.

    Cinema 4d is awesome for motion designers... he work very well with Adobe After Effects

    Go for it! It's honestly easier to get to grips with than you think.. All I will say is that be prepared to have a pretty super computer to handle it.. If you want anything out of it motion-wise I'd be looking for a decent render farm!

    I think you can still get a lite educational edition which renders everything out with a watermark - try their website :)

    It's some really impressive software. If you're not particularly familiar with similar software it may be a little tricky so check out some tutorials to give you a good understanding of the basics...will really help out in the long term.

    Enjoy the software, you can create some really amazing stuff!

    I've tried it once or twice but not really familiar of its interface but it's really cool! Like the other guys said there's a lite version of it check on their website.
