You can always open the file in illustrator and convert it to PDF. Maybe not what you looking for but also a solution.

You can convert to pdf all files in folder when you open only one cdr-document

the only safe method is to OPEN an cdr file in coreldraw and print it to .PS via virtual printer (filmsetter or platesetter). also you can print to adobe pdf printer with proper joboptions.

since coreldraw x4 i prefer to use "publish to pdf" function with pdf-x/1a settings. everything works well, you'll have just to fix page boxes (if you use default corel's x1a export setup). earlier versions of coreldraw have some serious difficulties in direct exporting to pdf.

I can't check it right now (I'm not working with Corel files anymore) but Corel allow to export files to PDF format: just set everything and export it. I had to make this many times to send for client's approval.

EDIT: that's it! Publish to PDF from File menu.

It’s clear, CorelDraw offers many possibilities but the direct export to pdf works in practice not really correct where there the special effects are. There is no other better method than to use a virtual printer for ps file and then to use the acrobat distiller to get pdf file.

If install Acrobat Full Version. (not reader version)
you can save by print menu. and select Acrobat printer.
it auto convert to PDF file.
