Without opening it is impossible to convert.
File\Print (to PDF Creator, EPS, PS)

you can convert the files ... but are they ready for print. Are they carrying the right color management. Mu advice is to make publish to pdf or print as ps than destil it with acrobat distiler. It is the longer but safer way.

Yes, but far less reliable!

PDF creator is mainly intended for office use : made to produce low-end PDF to share documents easily using internet, and being printed on an ink-jet printer...

Using PDF creator for PDF made to be offset-printed is very tricky and often gives unpredictable results!
(and as all the versions of PDF creator are not identical, the results change depending of the version)

Not impossible at all, i has tried and it worked, for papper size, you must edit your papper from the source program ( in this case -- corel draw), and for quality tou can edit the pdf quality in preference menu.

Try to do something like this

If you use PDF Creator to make PDF from CDR it depends on type of content in CDR file, if will created PDF be correct or wrong.

If you have a multiple files to convert my advice is to automate mouse clicks for "File>Publish To PDF" option in Corel (X5). For this purpose free piece of Do It Again software will be enough.

Good luck.

Can you define the pagesize in PDF creator? Maybe there is an option like "userdefined pagesize for postscript".

What do you want to do with that PDF file? PDF Creator generated files are not good for professional printing.

I think what alliswell means is IF he/she doesn't have Corel Draw software.
