Right know I love love love the Calibre Font
Fan of geometrics, Avante Garde, Futura, the original version of herbert bayers universal font (not the one thats been widely used since) Kabel / ITC Kabel. Avenir is a nice human feeling Avant Garde for me.
But really, top three would have to be FF Din, Helvetica (c. shwarz cut) (or maybe Akzidenz) and NB Grotesk.
Also a fan of the various helvetica alikes; Akkurat especially (probably gets more use from me than any of the three faves I listed), also New Rail Alphabet, Replica, Haas Unica, Atlas grotesk. I hate Aktiv though.

I'm a big fan of Helvetica Neue, but I am trying to branch out. Lately I've been liking Gotham since we use it at work as a part of our style guide, as well as Code Pro by Font Fabric for personal projects. Always looking for a good sans font, and some of these are really nice.
I've used Brandon Grotesque in quite a lot of my past projects.
Recent favourites I've used are Klavika, Magallanes and Pluto Sans. I'm thinking of a maya inspired personal project at the moment to use Tikal Sans on.
United Sans & United San Serif
Gotham for sure, it works great even on web
Nootype's Radikal is a great alternative to Proxima Nova or Brandon Grotesque, great for anything flat and simplistic
FF Neto, calluna sans like font, is good for writting :)
Nowadays I mostly use Quan, Helvetica, Novecento and Sanchez. United family is good too.
Conduit, Klavika, Korolev, Neubau, Proxima Nova, Helvetica, Futura. [for everything]
i dig pretty much all of the original grotesk revivals:
they are a great foundation for any project imaginable
