I've used Suitcase Fusion for years and I think it is very good. Many options.

Fontcase is great for previewing fonts.

    Maybe Font Case (MAC)

I tried several software, Suitcase, etc. etc. All was to damn slow or it would mess around with my fonts... they even killed some of my paid fonts...
Now i'm trying Font Case, love it so far...

Any insight on how these work with regards to cleaning up duplicate fonts (on Mac)? I'm finding Font Book is having a difficult time managing the fonts on my system. It may also be time to nuke some of these fonts that I'll never use. I know Suitcase Fusion 4 comes with FontDoctor, and I'm wondering if that'll do the trick?

I would say that Suitcase 4 is the fontmanager to use. It has a lot of smart features for organizing your fonts. I'm on a mac and with Font Doctor you can easily find all duplicates and remove them. Suitcase also works well when it comes to detecting damaged fonts that can cause trouble with your system.
