Font manager without the "autoactivate feature" is useless imho

I work on a Mac. And the best I've tried up till now is Font Explorer X Pro. It's excellent!

It takes ages to find fonts!! I used to use it, but it kept on creating problems. It was slowing down my computer all the time! Seriously, FontExplorer is much much better!

Not at all! FontBook is very bad. Its problem is that it turns on all your fonts all the time, and it does not activate fonts automatically.

I use BitStream Font Navigator, it comes with the Corel Suite, but it keeps uninstalling the fonts and other kinds of bugs.
Ill give a try on the some of these you recomend.

    Thx!

Use Extensis products you will not be disappointed

Use Extensis products you will not be disappointed. They are professional products and very stable.
In particular the auto activation feature is very practical when you have several fonts in the same file.

Another vote for FontExplorer X Pro

I would also recommend FontExplorer X Pro by Linotype. I use this as work after having giving up on Suitcase Fusion. I found Suitcase Fusion to give poor performance - crashing, not auto-activating etc.

I have had no problems at all with FontExplorer. I am still using Suitcase Fusion at home but it doesn't have to work as hard or juggle as many fonts.

I think Suitcase Fusion 4 is better! It has mac&win versions, and Adobe plugins.
