    I second Chronicle (Hoefler and Frere-Jones) and Lyon Text (Commercial Type). You might want to consider Athelas (Type Together).

    I think one can never go wrong with Optima. Unless of course you consider Yahoo's revamped logo.

    I'd say a well paired serif and grotesk would look great for most corporate and legal uses. I recently paired Calluna and Trade Gothic for a portfolio and I felt it had a nice impact.
