What do you guys think are the best fonts for use in Law themes! Or combination of fonts!

    For me:
    Trajan Pro | Lasta

Almost all the serif fonts are good.

I have seen Optima for headers and Minion for body once. Liked that combination. Otherwise I think Caslon and Sabon look great for law applications.

For text you should use any serif one, since the serif makes the text easier to read.

For logo/branding try a manuscript font. Almost all could do, but stick to the thinner ones to give a more serious, elegant and luxuous effect.

I agree on the previous opinions that a serif is a good choice but I figured out that "Proxima Nova" works quite well with law related projects.

Surely it depends on the kind of the project – not every law related subject equals the other.
But I’d give it a try.

This was my first thought as well.

And if you liked Typography for Lawyers, the same author has also written Practical Typography which is available for free at http://practicaltypography.com/

Kind of an expanded Typography for Lawyers, with similar font suggestions

Are you talking for a website?

I agree with most opinions here, a serif font seems better for Law, doesn't it?? I just can't imagine a 50 year old Law firm using Helvetica for instance (hahaha).

I don't specially like Optima (personal opinion) and, perhaps, to make it look a little bit more modern, you could try some modern or slab serif font (Bree Serif, Copse, Belgrano are some suggestions).

I actually like the versatility of Urge Text:

It is contemporary without being obnoxious.
