MacBook Pro. 15" if you can afford it. 13" if not. MacBook Air probably won't have enough power for heavy usage - i.e. big, multi-layer Photoshop files.

Better rendering on the screen & more enjoyable user experience.

Ya MacBook Pro still rules. I keep waiting for some to make a more affordable
PC that could rival it in terms of system software and design but alas it has not happened.

    Go with 13"

Macbook 15" is too big for travelling. I'd suggest 13" inch. MBA or MBP. Which depends on your preferences and budget. MBA is very light so if you're travelling often, it's quite important factor. On the other hand you can't upgrade RAM and disk and usually you should get at least 8GB RAM. Also it seems to me that MBA's display is a bit worse than MBP. MBP is heavier, but you can upgrade RAM up to 16GB by yourself (the RAM costs maybe $100 so it's definitely less expensive). You can also easily replace disk. Even it's possible to take out DVD drive and replace it with second HDD. My setup is 16GB RAM, 128GB SSD + 500GB HDD...

Go with the macbook pro of course!
If you prefer the light , you should choose macbook pro with retina display, it has high quality display, more light, but less storage and since a few days ago all MacBook Pro models have retina displays.

I have a 13" Macbook Pro, I wished I would have paid a little more for the 15". I have an iMac that I can go to as well so it's not too big of a deal.
