I would go with unifrom strokes and clear crossbar fonts like: Proxima, Alright Sans or Avenir. I wouldn't use bold font becouse bold fonts seems not trustworthy to me... Use thin sans serif font. That's my opinion ;)

    Good luck with your logo!

Try sans-serif and clean fonts. They would be great.
Like this one. This is Futura

And this is Sample Pharmacy Logo that i created using Futura.

    Hope it helps!

sansserif : clean and roundflowing indeed
because it is medical, open for a broad public and has to have some sterile feel too

    I agree with sans-serif choice.
When I'm choosing a font for a logotype I always pay much attention to the letters and the peculiarity every font brings.
Depending on what letters is the word that will be the logo made of, I look for a font that gives a special feel and have unique characteristic and can stand out!

Lately I'm enjoying fonts like National, Nitti or Akkurat. Linear but with personality! :·)

Univers LT - it also has ultra condensed variations which are VERY handy when it comes to doing pricing etc and working in tight spaces!

So much more information is essential to answer this question. What's the message they're trying to portray with their brand?

I'd suggest sketching out some logos and finding a font that matches your creative vision for their message.

I agree with this. We definitely need some more background information. A clear vision/message is key.

Some helpful questions that might narrow down what you're trying to portray:
Describe the brand in 3 words.
Who is the audience of the brand?
